Experience the grandeur Big Sky Resort from our ski-in/ski-out home-away-from-home. Our highly rated two story 3 bedroom 3 bath townhome is located in the Big Sky Resort Mountain Village on the lake side of Big Horn with unobstructed views of mountains and Lake Levinsky. No need to pack the car with skis and people to get to the slopes. Our front door is about 100 steps from the Bear Back Poma lift which is a short ride to the bottom of the Silver Knife ski run. Big Sky is centrally located between historic Bozeman and West Yellowstone. We are about one hour from both (including the Bozeman airport) making for the perfect location for those who want to spend most of their time enjoying the outdoors of Big Sky, but also want to spend a day or two in Bozeman or Yellowstone. Spend the day shopping in Bozeman or go to the IMAX or Museum of the Rockies. Of course no trip to Montana would be complete without visiting Yellowstone, America's oldest national park. Then come back to Big Sky for skiing or dog sledding or mountain biking or fly fishing or whitewater rafting. There is also horseback riding, wildlife (the Gallatin National Forest is just down the mountain), zipline, paintball, tennis, ATV riding, snow shoeing and more and more...
When you return home after a day spent in the Montana outdoors, you won't be at a loss for something to do. For starters, the living room has a 34” HDTV (with actual HD programming), DVD player and audio system. Every bedroom also has its own HDTV & DVD player. All rooms have HD DirecTV with HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, Starz, The Movie Channel, Encore and the Sports Pack. If you're concerned you might miss your favorite TV shows, just have any of the three DVRs record them for you.
If you have tons of pictures, you can use our computer & high speed Internet to send your vacation photos to your friends stuck at work. Or, if you bring your laptop, you can hook onto our wireless Internet.
We also provide a selection of board games and magazines or you can settle down in front of the fireplace to read a book and enjoy the mountain views.
The upstairs master bedroom has a queen bed & a queen sofa sleeper, a 32" HDTV, computer & printer and views of Lone Peak. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a 32" HDTV while the upstairs guest bedroom has two twin beds and a 26" HDTV. Both these bedrooms and the living room have unobstructed views of the lake and mountains. The living room also has a queen sofa sleeper.
Our kitchen is fully equipped and our washer, dryer and hot water heaters (we have two) are large capacity (a feature you'll appreciate if your group is on the big side).
Freebies include firewood, boot dryers, magazines from Ski, Powder, Outdoor Photography and National Geographic. Don't forget that Internet use is free as well as use of the computer & printer. Linens are included as well as bath soap, shampoo, lotion, foil, laundry detergent, dish and dishwasher detergent, toilet paper and tissues.
We bought our first property in Big Sky in February 2000, before the real estate boom. It was a noisy 2/2 that we sold in 2003 to buy this Big Horn because it was bigger, quieter and was ski in ski out. We aren't new comers to the rental business. We began renting our first place the day after we bought it and we're still in business over 10 years later. For your piece of mind, our property manager is on-call 24/7.
